Sheri Fischer
Sheri is an accredited colour consultant, colour authority, and interior designer with over 30 years of experience specializing in the psychological, physiological, and timeless application of colour within interior environments.
Formerly known professionally as Sheri Peterson, Sheri’s work has long been recognized for creating thoughtful, enduring spaces that move beyond trends and support harmony, emotional wellbeing, and functional design.
While her foundation is rooted in interior design, Sheri’s true specialization is colour. Her accreditation through the International Association of Colour Consultants/Designers – North America included an educational component along with the completion of a thesis exploring case studies on the art and science of colour in the built environment. She later served as Past President of the organization’s North American board and continues to pursue ongoing education and research within the colour industry.
Over the course of her career, Sheri has worked across residential, hospitality, wellness, and selected commercial projects, and has delivered more than 65 educational webinars and presentations for the design industry. Her approach combines colour theory, human response, colour harmony, and timeless design principles to help create interiors that feel balanced, enduring, and aligned.
Sheri is also a member of the Colour Research Society of Canada and the Inter-Society Color Council, reflecting her ongoing commitment to the continued study and advancement of colour.
Today, Sheri increasingly focuses on professional colour consulting, educational workshops, and speaking engagements for the design industry, manufacturers, hospitality groups, and design related corporations.
Outside of work, Sheri can most often be found hiking in the trees with her yellow lab, Leia, discovering new places, and spending time with friends.
